Information we collect
We collect your mobile phone number, verification records, membership status and Aegis member ID, education progress, questionnaire responses, appointment scheduling details, and message logs. Payment details are collected and stored by our payment processor, not by us.
How we use it
We use this information to verify your identity, operate your membership, deliver education and documentation standards, process subscription payments, schedule appointments, and maintain the records required to run a documented membership program.
Text messages
Your phone number is used for verification codes and service messages about membership, payment, and scheduling. We log the content and delivery status of these messages for support and recordkeeping. We do not sell phone numbers or use them for unrelated marketing.
Service providers
We share the minimum necessary information with providers that operate parts of this service: our messaging provider for text delivery, our payment processor for subscriptions, our hosting and security providers for site delivery and bot protection, and our database provider for storage.
Retention
Membership and documentation records are retained for as long as your membership is active and afterwards as required by law or for legitimate recordkeeping. Verification codes are short-lived and expire automatically.
Your choices
You may reply STOP to opt out of texts, request a copy or deletion of your membership record, or close your membership at any time. Opting out of texts may prevent sign-in and scheduling, since both rely on your phone number.
Security
Access to member records is restricted by role. Sign-in uses one-time codes rather than passwords, and verification codes are stored only as hashes.
