1. Research use only

They are not drugs, foods, cosmetics, or medical devices, and they are not intended for use in or on humans or animals. Nothing on this website may be used for diagnosis, treatment, cure, or prevention of any condition.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this website. By continuing past the entry confirmation you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the authority to accept these terms on behalf of any organization you represent.
3. Membership
Membership is granted to an individual and is verified by phone number. Membership does not transfer between people or organizations. Aegis may pause or end membership at any time, including pending documentation review. Membership provides general education and documentation standards; it is not medical care, professional advice, or authorization for individual use of research materials.
4. Text messages
By providing your phone number you consent to receive service text messages related to verification, membership, payment, and scheduling. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out; opting out may prevent you from signing in or scheduling.
5. Payment
Membership subscriptions are billed through our payment processor. Subscriptions renew until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation ends future billing and does not create a right to a refund of amounts already billed except where required by law.
6. Documentation and compliance
Members are responsible for maintaining records of purpose, materials, handling, storage, and disposal, and for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and institutional requirements. Aegis reviews documentation completeness only and does not review or endorse research conclusions.
7. Prohibited use
You may not resell, redistribute, or transfer materials obtained through Aegis, misrepresent your identity or research context, or use the website in violation of any law. Violation may result in immediate termination of access.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The website, education content, and materials are provided on an as-is basis without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aegis is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and total liability is limited to amounts you paid in the preceding twelve months.
9. Changes
These terms may be updated. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
